What's in a name?
"Four Lights" is a nod to one of the most poignant moments in Star Trek: The Next Generation, "Chain of Command: Part I & II". In its own reference to George Orwell's 1984, the episode depicts Captain Picard's defiant exclamation,"there are four lights." This is a bold proclamation of truth in the face of captors seeking to pervert it. Like Captain Picard, Four Lights chooses to stand firm on our "four lights," the guiding principles that anchor our investment strategy. By holding to these principles, we commit to consistency and stability, even in the face of a world that would have us do otherwise.
